Hello everyone! Welcome to day six of the 14-Day Healthy YOU Challenge. I think it would be silly to talk about breakfast, lunch and dinner without mentioning snacks, don’t you? Today we’re going to focus on snacking and also introduce some fruit into the mix.
Before we get into today’s challenge let’s start today off with our two favorite questions:
- What is your Health Color today, right now? Red? Orange? Yellow? Green? Blue? Purple?
- What color do you want to be today?
People often ask me whether or not they should be snacking between meals. I always tell them it depends on the amount of time that has passed between meals. I use the “Rule of 4”—never allow more than four hours to pass without eating a meal or snack.

- Follow the “Rule of 4”—if more than four hours pass between meals, go ahead and eat a small snack. Open up your Healthy YOU Snacks sheet below and choose one of the seven sample snacks with a fruit icon next to it.
- Begin logging your daily fruit consumption on your Healthy YOU Tracking Sheet under Day 6.
Don’t forget to also continue logging your water, whole grains, vegetables and healthy fats too!
