YOU are enough
YOU are enough. Whatever your health goals, YOU are enough. When you pull the covers up at night and roll them down with the rising sun, YOU are enough. Stop with the “if only I were thinner”, “if only I had more time”, “if only Melanie could move in with me so that she could help me make better choices”…YOU are enough.
Doctors, dietitians, health coaches and personal trainers are your sideline cheerleaders, rooting you on to a stronger, healthier body, but you must only give them a grain-of-salt worth of credit because YOU are the one doing the ‘body’ work, making the healthier choice… YOU are enough.
Give yourself credit. In fact, give yourself extra credit when you:
- Drink a glass of water instead of soda
- Eat a serving of vegetables instead of another serving of meat
- Walk for 10 minutes instead of sitting on your butt
Because although they may seem small and insignificant, when you do them enough (even one of them), you WILL see and feel a difference. Oh, and by the way, YOU were the one who made that choice…not your doctor, dietitian, health coach or trainer. YOU are enough.
It is YOUR heart that beats to keep you alive and YOU are enough to keep that heart beating stronger every day.
It is YOUR bones that keep YOU standing upright and YOUR muscles that give you the strength to climb up a flight of stairs and YOU are enough to keep those bones and muscles strong.
YOU are your own solution to a healthier and stronger body because YOU are enough.
