What is it?

The rules are simple: For thirty days, you will implement eleven rituals into your day. Each one– called a “Peace Ritual”– works in concert with the others to improve your overall blood sugar numbers. They encompass rituals of both the mind and body.

Understand, that if you want to get this right—I mean really get it right—you must not only do the work of cleaning up your food choices, you must also nurture your mind. The thoughts, beliefs and perceptions that you feed your mind, are just as important (if not more important) as what you feed your body.

How is it structured?

Peace for Diabetes is a five-week program that can be delivered either virtually or in person at your worksite. Each weekly 90-minute session guides individuals towards positive behavior change in areas directly impacting blood sugar. As a student, you will be given all of the tools and support to help you: 

  1. Develop and strengthen a healthy mindset.
  2. Manage your stress in a peaceful way.
  3. Build healthy meals using powerful meal planning tools.
  4. Choose blood sugar-balancing snacks.
  5. Reset your taste buds and lose your “sweet tooth” once and for all.
  6. Eat– and CRAVE– real food.
  7. Choose supplements to support healthy blood sugar.
  8. Achieve and maintain restful and restorative sleep.
  9. Make a habit out of joyful movement.
  10. Implement ten transformative Nourish Guidelines to achieve healthy blood sugar.
  11. (Finally) restore inner harmony with your food, body, and health.
